Ian, there is some evidence that CPQ stuffed the channels -- i.e. forced resellers to take inventory. This will show up as a "sale" rather than as inventory. If this is true, then you can expect significant deterioration in CPQ's financials, because resellers will have to unload that inventory. You might pick this up as a dramatic increase in DSO (although that's a flawed metric).

SO CPQ turns inventory once every 4.4 weeks and DELL turns are once every 7 DAYS. Need I say more. <gg>

Ian,

Could all be BS! Radio Shack will start selling CPQ in their 6500 stores, and the stock has gotta' come from somewhere! If they are too successful, the demand could outstrip the supply! <g> That could cause other problems!

I think CPQ will be OK in the LONG!
