Sankar : This sounds like hocus pocus. What you are describing is patently illegal under good old US law. You can't rig the price of a stock oin which you own 1/3 of the company by flaoting a subsidiary to keep prices up.
Sometime ago - you had a similar wild theory about options trading - go back to teaching students my dear professor and let people who are using real money analyze real news and movements

I think 2 things happened today. One was the President's announcement which lifted the whole internet sector. Two, the WSJ article with the one analyst giving a $100 12 month target for YHOO was supportive of YHOO in particular. It makes more sense that the AMZNs of the world were proportionally higher in regard to the internet tax situation than the search engines or ISPs. Just MHO.
