Do you suffer from degree envy? Or did you go to a really Good School? Please tell us, as the info is not in your profile.

Surething,

You said: I see you are another genius who had to resort to purchasing your BS degree
from a non-accredited College.

May I respectfully suggest that everyone agree to avoid attacks on other threaders' education, parents, race, religion and other ad hominem methods? It's bad enough that we use "liberal" and "conservative" as epithets.

Also, I have found a very inconsistent correlation between institutions and true education, and sometimes even an inverse relationship.

Since we are breaking the time-tested rule against arguing about either politics or religion, let's try to be kinder to one another. As Jessie Jackson says, "We can disagree without being disagreeable."

Respectfully,

Jack

Wrong, Surething. DeVry was and is a fully accredited college, with well respected industry reputations for turning out first-class grads.

You're also very ignorant about Mt. St. Helens, and how the eruption took place. I live about 50 miles due south of the mountain, with a clear full view of the mtn, and "our town" only got a light dusting of ash.

A liberal is....... someone who favors feelings and symbolism over substance and action. One who says they want to help certain people, but really do nothing good for the people they purport to "help". The reason is, all they really want is for the people they purport to care about to become dependent on government largess (read: $200/mo) permanently. This means bigger government, which liberals love. A liberal would applaud someone who contentedly remains on a $200/mo welfare check each month, because "that's their right". A liberal is someone who pretends to "care" about things such as homeless people, but yet does nothing beyond say that they "care". A liberal would encourage a young woman to get an abortion, and not caution her that going through such a procedure may haunt her for months and years later, and that she may wish to get counseling on the other, maybe happier alternatives, such as bearing the child, and giving it up to an able parent in an "open adoption", where she could have some communication with it's adoptive family on occasion. A liberal might not want to even tell the woman that there are organizations that provide financial and other assistance to women who want to have a child they are pregnant with, but don't feel they can afford it. A liberal may bring up other alternatives, but would very firmly be sure to encourage the girl to consider an abortion, because "that's her right".

That's how I define a liberal.
