I have the following insiders selling in the last two weeks:

Jay Whipple 200,000
Ken Benuento 35,000
James Moran 26,000
Thomas Camp 13,000
--------------------
total 274,000 shares

Sorry for any of the misspelled names/numbers. This is the latest info I have. Whipple is retired, the others are buying houses, Dave S. discussed this earlier, Dave S. has cornered the housing market in GA.

>>> Fear is keeping me away for now.

Don't let fear make your decisions, do your financial homework and look at the companies fundamentals. Pretend the stock market doesn't exist.

This is probably the best buying opportunity in the last six months. Just yesterday Mr. Kight confirmed everything is Great, the stock is down because the Market Lemmings see the (retired) insiders selling, and panic. What else could you want? Do you need Mr. Kight to hold your hand?

If this stock goes to Twenty I'll be buying! Also, Watch OUT for the UPGRADE! If this stock hits the Teens, some analyst may be tempted to buy and then upgrade. I forget who it was but when CKFR hit 31, some analyst downgraded saying the stock passed its target of 24 (this is what happened in the January Upgrade). IMHO!

I have the following two insiders selling from 10/30/97 - 11/26/97

We all remember what market was doing at that time. I was watching CKFR price those days hoping to buy if the stock tanks to mid teens with the market.

I totally respect the responses that I've received to the posting of the insider sales. Normally, I'd be flamed off the 'net for posting such negative news for any stock. Thank you.

Now, regarding the sales, as I posted above, they occured in Jan and Feb of this year. I don't know who they are, and also agree that if it's a small percentage of their holdings, nothing much to sweat about, long term at least.

I also recognize that basing an investment decision on insider sales is much trickier than on buys, as people sell for a huge variety of reasons, but buy only for one reason: to make money!

Good luck all.

(If it does get down to the teens, I'll be a holder of CKFR (or is it CKFH now, for checkfree holdings) along with everyone else.)
