The shares on account remain of the same value as shares that have certificates.

I don't play that stuff. Don't care why people are here or who they pretend to be. Don't even care who they really are.

You are incorrect as to shares on account being "air". Your broker is responsible to sell shares in your account on demand. Providing there is a liquid market. Shares with certificates have an equal trading value if presented to the broker.
