BENCHMARKING Y2K PERFORMANCE

Every Friday IBD reports the top 6 Sector Funds for the preceding 4,8,12,16, and 39 weeks. In both the 4 and 8 week periods my performance tracks the technology funds that dominate the short term rankings. LOnger term my Y2K performance more than doubles the % gains of the best sectors. In the 16 and 39 week reports no technology funds are listed in the top 6 except Fidelity select Telecommunications.I would rather the recent performance so there isn't a belief that Y2k price appreciation is so way above other high EPS growth stocks it is time to take profits and seek better value stocks.
