Slippery floors indeed.

Thanx Winer (& Mr. King too) for the posts.

Here's my two cents. Mr. Lowe's article is especially sad; why does INCO-St.John's NOT have an official who speaks Innu-eimun?? Sending a non-native-speaking "HR officer" to discuss EIS issues with the Innu is either totally naive or sheer idiocy. (FYI--DFR tried it with translaters in '95 & '96--it never will work.)

I think INCO should shut down the St. John's office and open them up in Nain, Utshimassit, and Goose Bay. Shutting down the "cozy" NY office was just the first step IMNSHO.

INCO management's continuing "faux pas" are becoming increasingly embarrasing to this "irate" shareholder.

Disgusted, T.

How many oddities can we fit in one article:

Friedland on taking INCO over: Yes, the world largest nickel producer is being brought to its knees by nickel prices and Voisey. Yet other companies are just dying to take it all over. Do you remember the line-up to get ON the Titanic in the middle of the Atlantic or the search for the treasures years after.

Rick Gill on the delay: Nah, INCO is not being hurt by the delay!
And Rick got his job because he is tells the truth.

This whole article looks like the 50 yard dash for people with absolutely no sense of direction.
