Duane, your logic is faultless: if CIEN ain't in the market for GLW's new stuff, then they probably can't use it/don't need it UNLESS it is somehow not compatible. We need more info for sure. Just to clarify: I am not a CIEN bear, period. Craig and I have had a few friendly jousts centering around the topic of: Big Telcos like to buy from Big Suppliers so Mike Doyle favors the LU, GLW, TLAB group. Craig, to put words in his mouth, says 'what's wrong with WCOM--aren't they big enough and besides that CIEN's stuff is so hot, the telcos will buy anyway' and Craig may well be right! I am a much braver buyer of the "new kid on the block" @40 vis a vis the prior price level. Till further clarity . . . . .Mike Doyle
