I think Peter's done a great job on the NEW Datek Online Service site. A user can quickly find great research, charts, and news all in one place, with speed, and convenience. Just a click next to the quote symbols you are following (no need to enter individual symbols unless you are adding new ones) and in minutes you can find what you need.

On the other hand, the Datek Classic looks good, and is very fast, simple and easy to use.

Datek is OBVIOUSLY listening and trying to improve an already excellent service. Everything evolves, and Datek is evolving in the right direction so far. Glitches can happen and no one is perfect.

Give Datek and Peter a break-- and credit for creating a wonderful system that gives the little guy a fighting chance.

So, Go Datek. And Thanks a lot, Peter and all. Things are looking good. (And no, I'm not Rodney Babcock).

...John

Perhaps these recent changes have something to do with Datek's plans to go public. I have no other info about this other than a comment posted on #daytraders by someone who supposedly knows one of Datek's principals. :-)

What other online brokerage firm could you recommend? Particularly for options. And also one that has an all-or-none order -- not long ago I ordered 5000 shares, and was incredulous to see that I got 4 shares only.
