Lisa,
A one day divergence doesn't tell me anything.Lately the dow has lagged.FWIW.I haven't studied the charts yet for today, but I'll bet things are still saying up.Dow theorists like to watch the transports...but again a day or two of divergence doesn't stop THIS market.
Regards,
Barbara

Lisa, I am not by any means a TA guy. Trying to learn as we go along. I am more a fundamental person. Here are a few interesting tidbits for interpretation for the month of February.

DOW.....7900 - 8555 .....7.65%
OEX........470 - .500 .......6.00%
SPX.........990 - 1050 ......5.70%
NDX......1075 - 1295 ....16.90%
NAZ......1650 - 1770 ......6.80%
SOX........280 - .315 .....11.10%

The only thing I can gather is the action this month was in the big names. Including the big names in the Hi-Techs (or the Dell index). Until the Naz and the Spx do a little catch up we are subject to volatility and a real strong probability of taking this market down rather hard to test some old supports. JMO
