First of all, I don't buy into this rumor at all. Mainly because Intel couldn't take more than a 15% stake without triggering the shareholder rights provision. But just for the sake of argument, why would, say, a 12% stake in NCD by Intel be such a great thing? Maybe it validates the business, but we already got IBM and Microsoft to do that. Perhaps I'm very naive (hint: yes) but why should an action like that receive such a positive re-action? Anyone?
