It was about all the bombings that go on in the States and their relationship to grass roots unhappiness . He lived with some of these people , "not bombers" but people who have lost their family farms etc. and have what would appear to them justifiable reasons for a large mistrust of the Gov't. He said that grain grown in the US is controlled by 7 very large companies, which own the farms , the ships, trains, elevators and anything else associated with it's production.

I think some of these people may simply feel frustrated, and as if they've nothing more left to lose. Though I'm not quite clear about why they should single the government out as their enemy. The lack of control of monopolies, and the failure to provide a safety net for the individual are characteristics of the kind of extreme laissez-faire capitalism so enthusiastically promoted by many who contribute to this thread. It seems strange to me that they claim to want less government interference in their lives when in fact that is precisely what they ARE getting.
