Agreed, and I appreciate your objectivity. When I read news reporting that is combined with prose I tend to just pay attention to the quotes and slough off the rest like so many unecessary vitamins (unless there are what appears to be verifiable facts that can be researched further). The tone of Mr. Lowe's article does suggest that the Innu are totally opposed the development but I would like to know whether this is really the case and how much impact that opposition will ultimately have.

One thing that does seem relevant is that Mr. Gill is communicating a certain "story" about the progress he is making that does not square with what apparently occurred at the meeting in Davis Inlet. If this is truly the case then he should realize that the ongoing dissemination of information can reveal any tranparencies. If, on the other hand, Mr. Lowe has misrepresented the situation, then that too should be discovered and exposed.
