Tony:

Thanks for clearing the capitalization issue. I am an accountant and would not have figured out how parental debt would flow as equity in subs. for regulatory capital.

It seems short term negatives are overwhelming. Earnings estimates are going to be revised downwards over the next few days.

Oxford has pulled out of medicaid in CT, NJ and distanced itself in PA. It has not made a decision on NY. NY seems to be consistent with Oxford's desire to concentrate there. The pending rate request and expected $50MM donation from Pataki Admn. will appear to be State's trump card for Medicaid. CT's decision to join class action for 400K stock loss may have been more political than financial. What do you think will be the likely liability from various litigations?

NJ medicaid does not allow subcontracting. Still Times correspondent was asking Nicole Reily if NJ medicaid business will be sold! Is there any dollar value to whole medicaid bus.? If medicaid has any value, what is the full franchise worth?
