I don't think I am amused, I want to go puke. Anyone that thinks this is anything more than the standard "class action" corporate shakedown is an idiot. I'm convinced the law firms now just go to Microsoft Investor, do a screen on companies with descending share prices (and coincidentally with money on the balance sheet), find a shareholder schmuck they can "represent", and go "crusade for shareholders rights". What a scam. Check out the list below, Novell is in good company. I bought most of my Ascend AFTER their "shareholder class action" suit was served on them (stock went from 80s to 20s), and I'm up nearly 50% since December.
Most of the list below were initiated in California, a friend got me this recently updated list from a Stanford University site. What a joke, and what a joke that people on this board I thought were credible investors are glomming onto this. If you don't like the stock, KNOW its going in the crapper, and think you have all the answers, SHORT IT, and tell the posters here that you're a wise guy and you put your money where your mouth is.
