>>San Fran can often have a bone-chilling wind blowing in off the ocean.

So said Mark Twain, for SF summers.

It is foggy in San Francisco in the summer, Dwight. That is when we wear our black clothes and heavy leggings. The spring and fall are very mild, and we have Indian Summer which makes for temperatures in the high nineties in October. That is when we dig out our shorts and tank tops, and look very pasty and almost British in them--very unappealing, really. Winter used to be no big deal, but now it seems to be much more like Seattle around here.
