I work at blah blah blah. Perhaps the most compelling reason that these people who
claim to work at a company are frauds is the fact that the employee's e-mail is the
property of the company. Accordingly, a company can easily track down the source of
the post in a matter of seconds, and in this case the clown at Yahoo is claiming to send
his messages from work.


I do not disagree with your conclusion that they may not work at these companies and are just trying to add a little validity to there input, on Yahoo or Si Threads, by making these claims.

But I do disagree with your premise that their email is the property of the company. That is only true if it is a company email address. Many individuals have their personal email addresses from AOL, and the like, and all is needed is a pc or laptop at the office with a modem and telco line and they can access the internet with out the awareness or monitoring of Big Brother.
