And ... you know how much I "love" punditry. BTW, the use of IBM's best
process (.22um with copper interconnect) by AMD will finally give AMD
a process in which they can compete with Intel in the high performance
market ... IF ... the K6 (.25um) design is as good/robust as the Deschutes
design.

Of course there are some experts (Bert & Petz) on this thread that think
that AMD is buying IBM's older processes (.35um) ... doesn't make much
sense. But then they might be thinking straight after losing so much money
on AMD !! <ggg>
