Mike, Here on the APAT thread, we have a more purist view... Jim Nelson, for example will explain that "hitting them straight" is the highest order of pursuit.. Secondarily, we can appreciate your good taste in selecting a company of the caliber of LU in which to invest..super stock. Trying to sort out all the telecom winners is getting to be a chore, frankly... with the announcement by GLW just adding to the difficulty in sorting it all out. BTW another of the companies supportingthe UT research was CYMI, so I picked up a few hundred shares of that as well. The benefit to DPMI is how it extends the life of the current lithography (and the reliance on photomasks vs going to one of the direct write technologies)... LU seems to win all the way around.. Come back again to talk WDM -- CIEN or APAT, or, better...little white balls :-) Duane
