>>30MM shares of insider buying<<?

That's more than the total number of shares traded for the week, isn't it? Are you sure about that figure?

A Yahoo-IOM poster posted $300,000 purchasing by 2 insiders and referenced Saturday's Barrons also.

Gary, I checked Barrons' under "insider transactions" and found only
this:

Monday, March 2, 1998

Insider Transactions
Recent Filings
Company/ %Chg. In # of # of $ Value

Symbol Holdings Insiders Shares (Millions)
(Exch.)

Purchases

Iomega IOM 169 2 30,500 263,524
(N)

That info is based on SEC filings, therefore old.
Where did you see your exciting news? (note that
VALUE above is obviously NOT in millions).

Why didn't the stock move more this week with that kind of buying? True, I sold my last shares, but was there that much selling pressure that a t 30MM share purchase was negated? This stock at best will see 10 and range between 8.5-10 till earnings. If earnings are good, perception will change and we'll see 13 before second quarter.

March correction is at hand and I think we'll see bargins galore like intc@82-83, cpq@30-32, amat@32-33, msft@72-73, and csco@60-61. It is in issues like these that I will load up on. Cpq right now is a screaming buy.

Re: Insider buying

Gary, what do those dumbies (sp?) know, anyways? :-))

Ps I read a couple of posts today and couldn't make out what they were saying. Can we all write in simple English and complete sentences. Do not assume the reader knows where you're coming from (your point of view.) Also, do not write in the same way you talk, for it doesn't make any sense. Proof read it at least once, please. I realize we all want to post things fast, however, do it in a an understandable way.

GARY...

>>>WARNING WARNING WARNING. Better read this one . . .

Barron's reported today that Iomega insiders (2 of them) bought 30MM shares<<<<

Just thought I'd let you know that the law firm of "DEWEY CHEATEM & HOW" is preparing a class action lawsuit against you for damages resulting from all of the near heart attacks your post caused throughout IOMEGALAND... I almost fell out of my chair... :-)

It's alright though, really... I appreciate everyone's efforts in digging up any and all info. on this company... And I think that even though the purchase was 30,000 shares instead of 30 million!!! is still a positive sign, add it to the 20,000 purchased by Linda ? and few weeks ago and you can "almost" call it an insider buying trend
