To sum up, you're worried about "too many chiefs and not enough indians". That's reasonable and well-founded. Sometimes, though, you simply have indians with 'chief' head-dress. I once worked for a company where the boss bestowed 'manager' and 'director' titles on everybody. I suppose he did it to help everybody feel important, but at the end of the day it felt a little silly to meet with a client as a 'Technical Director' and when they ask, "Can I meet the programming staff?", you say, "Errr, that would be me." -MrB
