Glad you appreciated my sarcasm in re Kathleen Willey being a "sleeper agent". Part of what I wanted to point out was that; for all the vitriol directed at Ken Starr, it is people who have been in the inner Clinton circle who are providing the majority of the drama and trouble for Clinton:

1) Linda Tripp. True, she worked in the Bush WH as well, but if she has such "partisan" motives, how did she survive so long in the Clinton WH? God knows that politicians are ever-wary of those who may be less than loyal. And in fact, when the Willey story first broke in Sept (Aug.?) of 1997, it was Linda Tripp who vouched for the fact that it certainly did NOT look to be a case of sexual harassment. Tripp described Willey as being "joyful" when she left the Oval Office.

2) Lewinsky. Being written off by Clinton supporters as wacko, delusional, untrustworthy, lying, unstable, etc. Gee, great testimony of a Clinton confidant.

3) Kathleen Willey. Said to have been kissed full on the mouth by Clinton at a party. My only source is the Rush Limbaugh Show, but Rush said on his show that Kathleen's husband bragged to friends, saying, "can you believe who my wife has been kissing?" According to these people (his friends) Mr. Willey appeared to be quite proud. But even besides this, it is a pretty much "fact" that the Willeys were big supporters of the DNC. Yet this woman is now being also written off as someone with ulterior motives.

No wonder Hillary thinks it's a conspiracy: In her mind, there's no other explanation.
