Dwight, Take a look at P. J. O'Rourke. I think you'd like him and his more conservative writings and speeches. Amazingly, P. J. even ferrets out people with simple workable solutions for much of what the liberals say ails the world, solutions which don't require billions and billions in tax dollars and private funding. J.'s stuff, you might want to take a serious look at the SF Chronical (I'm sorry, Janice) for about a week and see what you think of that paper.
