SSB downgrades CPQ to a "neutral" and then puts CPQ on their "Hot Buy Growth List?" Is this strange or am I missing something here? Stephen

Malcolm: What is the caption of the article and what is the date of the article,I didn't see any over there at the site? I have the same question as stephen that is Smith Barney downgrades CPQ and now you say it is on their 'HOT' list ?????? Smith Barney your broker???

What is going on here, I don't understand ! Kindly elaborate.

Malcolm: Thanks for the referral to Smart Money. In your post you said that CPQ was placed on SSB's Hot List. Did you mean this in reference to an article in Smart Money, or were you referring to the SSB list of January 1998. There are allot of people on this thread who would like to cite this article in leau of the down grade published last week by one of their analysts. I looked through Smart Money and couldn't find the reference. If it is there, please copy and publish on this thread. Sorry for the late response,
