Defense? For what, I wonder? Is this an unintended admission of guilt over some imagined charge that Congress may file against him, after the grand jury presents its report? Hmmm....curiouser and curiouser, said Alice.

Let's not make mountains out of molehills. Starr seems quite determined to proceed, to say the very least; in Clinton's place the prudent person would make damned sure to have a "defense" ready in anticipation of trouble.

Why all the fuss about this article? So Bill's pissed off at Starr. Of course he is. We knew that. Who wouldn't be?
