Jurgen, good buddy, I do like a challenge. Look at the Sears chart. bigcharts.com

I see 3 buy signals over the last 5 years, where the stock went plunging through the 50 and 150 dma, mid 93, mid. 95 and late 97. Granted any practical application of a real strategy would have had me whipsawed around in a few unproductive trades but overall it looks like I beat a buy and hold strategy. But why look at the past. We just had a major panic selling on CIEN. The stock closed at 42 a few days ago where I have hypothetically picked it up. I think the stock is going to recover fairly quickly but I'll sell it to you when it reaches the 200 dma. Your sell signal after you buy it is what? The 50 dma? When you sell it we will compare our results.
