Well, Duncan, that is just amazing about Saddam. I guess it might be because he is perceived to be more CONSISTENT than Billy. I hope the White House is taking the poll results seriously. Incidentally, the guy on Meet the Press this morning gave a tiny editorial comment at the end, asking the president to PLEASE not even consider offering the kissing defense. Did you see it? The Drudge Report is saying that apparently someone saw them kissing. I would assume perhaps this will become public after the grand jury testimony, and the deniable trial balloon in Friday's CBS report is part of the strategy of releasing bad news in a way that the White House retains some control over it.
