I think that the total float of INTCW was about 40 million shares about 8-10 months ago (it's doubtless much less now, many have already been converted).

I don't expect any significant impact, Intel itself has been treating these as if 100% will be converted for some time (years), because they have been so far "in the money". Shares to do the actual conversion are already reserved. I don't think that the market will see an impact either, 40 million shares is insignificant in terms of the 1.6 BILLION share capitalization.

Over the years, arbitrageurs have always transmitted the buying and selling power in INTCW to INTC. If there was any net buying or selling pressure from the warrants, the discrepency between the prices of INTCW and INTC would be different from the official conversion rate.
