Hi Marcos, and well I deserve a harrrummmph! I guess I forgot my u's in a moment of madness. I usually try to mind my P's and Q's as well. If u look back on my posts in the past I usually use the British "our." If u notice the new system they have on SI it highlights a word containing "our" as a possible spelling error. Now , don't u be harsh on our American friends. Most Americans I've met are really great people. They can't help it if they have a President who can't control himself. That's probably from eating too many Big Macs. Perhaps the cook could put saltpetre in his food. I'll be joining your new thread as soon as I have time. Sounds good! Let's have a revolution. Viva! Marcos Simon Bolivar! I like some of their schlock T.V. like Homicide Life on the Street, and N.Y.P.D. I also like Charlie Rose. Best interviewer, talk show on T.V. They also produce a lot of good stuff on PBS. Speaking of Schlock T.V. Marcos, what do we call some of that dreadful stuff emanating from Hogtown and the Maritimes? And then there is Sandie Rinaldo doing the 11 o'clock news on weekends with her simpering, whining, cloying, delivery. I always remember that it was the Americans who saved our bacon in the end, in W.W.2. Although Britain and the Commonwealth countries, along with several other European countries put up a valiant struggle on their own for a long time, we couldn't have won it without the Americans coming in to the war. We didn't have the men and machinery. Lest we forget. I love Canada, even with our pathetic collection of leaders, but that doesn't preclude feeling very close to the Americans either. I have a great deal of affection for the people, even though I don't like some of the institutions. I also know that the government there can be a bit overbearing at times, but I guess that's what happens when you're the biggest and strongest kid on the block. They tend to be bullies some times. On balance though, we both have some bad actors, and some good ones. Viva la Revolucione! Is that how you spell it, Marcos? I mean, we need to get our battle cry right. Cheers Shirley
