Bonnie, This is a great strategy and I have been thinking along the same lines for quite some time. Unfortunately if the stock market corrects in a big way these stocks will get decimated. Right now these stocks are at multi year high. This plan will work if we do not get a long nasty bear market in the next two decades. An alternative strategy may to invest in technology and energy services stocks. Both of these areas will grow several fold over the next decade regardless of the stock market movements. My vehicles are two fidelity select funds FSELX and FSESX. They do have excellent track records. Best wishes and good investing. Jyoti
