Yup. Secondary rallies are GREAT short opportunities!

The downside target on ONSL was not achieved on the first decline. Still looking for < $10.

Gary, ONSL failed to reach 30. Next week could be a down week with CPQ's warnings and negative comments about the market in Barrons.

I also like SPLN as a short. Stock ran up almost 200% this year, about 75% in 2 weeks. The company has a PS of 40, had $10.3 M in revenues last year but lost $26.5 M. Analysts projected SPLN to lose $2/share this year, or about $27 M. At that rate, the company will run out of cash in Feb of 99. Given its current high price, I expect to see a secondary offering from SPLN very soon. Insiders will also use that opportunity to sell as the normal 180-lockup won't expire until May.

Regards,

Tom
