At least she wouldn't have been incented to lead Monica in her taped conversations with her. Patriot that she is, she wouldn't have tried to dress up any of this for a subsequent book? Surely, she wouldn't choose money over public service.

Even more amazing is that Tripp maneuvered Monica into the WH and got Clinton to do what he does best and then had Monica tranferred to the Pentagon so she could get all those nocturnal visits on record.

Seems Tripp was easily the smartest and most resourceful person in the Clinton WH.
