Jhild, surething -- I'm shocked and appalled at both of you! Have you no knowledge of American culture? "Whatta maroon" was used widely and well by both Bugs Bunny and the Three Stooges, in place of the correct "moron"; in fact, there is a checking card commercial in which the Bugs Bunny character uses the term in reference to Daffy Duck, who has forgotten to bring ID to a Warner Bros. store.

It may also have an obliquely racist reference. but I've never heard it used in that way.

So, Duncan is a Bugs Bunny fan - he could do worse <G>
