Bill -- An SEC Commissioner recently commented on the practice of providing information first to analysts, with resulting stock price jumps and dips, prior to general announcement. His point was that issuers and analysts aren't above the insider trading laws. I believe the article was in yesterday's Wall Street Journal. It will be interesting to see whether his warning is heeded -- before a highly publicized SEC insider trading action makes the point more dramatically. Gil
