gyp. the name is mnmuench. Its what I go by. my friends call me muench. Your reading of the thread is, in many ways, an accurate assessment of what has occurred. I think in some cases you have failed to see the underlying meanings of the posts; humor is not necessarily the intent, just a by-product. I've gained some interesting insights into metaphysical matters on this thread. I've also used the tread as a reflective tool in examining my own experience. My postings of passages from A Still Forest Pool are another exercise /contribution. The group story you participated in can be read from many different levels--at least that is the way it hit me at the time. It seems very hard to attract people who are willing to put effort into a thread of this nature. When we lose someone like tomato, and the course in miracles, I think it is sad. When people upset one another it is human, but no less sad. I, for one, am sensitive to any lose. Your review, however, shows that I'm perhaps hyper sensitive to the issue. The underlying nature of much of what we speak about here demands that we walk away and contemplate it. Serious contemplation or meditation. And to do so we must leave. Finally talking about things of this nature in a public forum can be very painful. Not only do we expose ourselves to others opinions but we test our own beliefs simply by stating them. When we speak of such a matter as truth what are we addressing? Well to me it may mean something as simple as understanding the sensation of breathing. To others it may be in and of itself that vast unknowable. So we engage in a circular discussion that if not lightened by some smiles is, at best, futile. But hopefully in some way enlightening. To be honest Gypsy I think if I spent all the time meditating that I do writing on this thread I would be better off. Though I would not have the pleasure of some enjoyable friendships; and would not have gained some wonderful insights. Another circular question that seems to run in the hearts of many of us. That's the way I see it gypsy. regards, mnmuench
