Did you read what I wrote in my prior post? I acknowledge that many things have been discovered thru acadmeia but they mostly have been brought to actual use thru private/public companies!!!! The question is whether non government funded companies can do the work that is done in universities for less money. I think they can. Universities waste money. They waste a lot of money.
