Mr. Clinton admitted having an affair with Ms. Flowers during the 1970s. Presidential spokesman Michael McCurry took indirect issue with the report. He said that both the president's deposition testimony and his 1992 statements had been truthful and they were "not at odds" with one another. Bet you believe he didn't inhale too. Looks to me that McCurry did not disagree with the source. He just tried to justify Clintons dual stance. Which is indefensible given what the source said and Clinton's previous statements. If Clinton disagreed with the article why did McCurry try to defend both of Clinton's statements? Shouldn't he have ignored it altogether or denied it? McCurry's comments give the source credence. My original posts on this were a joke for the most part. It seems to have become jhildish. Where were you guys when Holly and Janice were discussing whether Clinton was a pathological liar? At least there are some intelligent viewpoints from "the other side". Oh the indignation of it all. I don't agree with everything that Clinton's detractors have pulled since Clinton was first elected. But I am also not gullible enough to believe Clinton is a choir boy. I seriously doubt Monica will take him down (pun intended), but the battle is not yet over. While everyone jeers the Monica incident Starr has pulled off a major coup with Tucker. We must wait while Big Guvment works it out. While they do I'll just post here and lampoon Clinton and his cronies. BTW, as I keep saying. If Starr has acted illegally then why doesn't Janet Reno fire him? Why doesn't Clinton order Reno to fire him for cause?
