Mang, For people like me that like to read too much into everything, the late earnings announcement may signal that the results are OK. If you look at the dates of the last six announcements, the December 1997 announcement was by far the worst and the earliest. The company will be announcing last quarter's results during the week of March 23rd. Here are the dates of past earnings releases. December 18, 1997 September 23, 1997 June 24, 1997 March 20, 1997 December 23, 1996 September 24, 1996 While this is hardly a conclusive indicator that "all is well", it does make sense that they would accelerate the release if a disaster had occurred. That was the case last December. Hope we don't get a surprise tonight. David
