Ken,
The y2k problem has absolutely nothing to do with chips or any other hardware. It is completely a software problem. We could replace every chip in every machine in the world tomorrow and it would do zero to solve the problem.

While I think it is very unlikely, Don't forget that from 1965 to 1980, bonds basicaly went down.

Don't get me wrong here, I do not think Rates will go over 8-8.5%, but 7% could be on the distant horison.

I just think it is important not to think things "Can not" happen.
