Could you comment more specifically on the product line-up weakness that you see, and on CS' SmartSwitch Router entry.

Clearly you are right in stating that CS fumbled big time in the past, and the current valuation reflects that. Only time will tell if the current valuation is appropriate given the restructuring that is underway.

There is no question that it is put-up or shut-up time for CS, I think we are seeing today that the stock price has discounted the lions share of the shitty news.

>> ASND +1736%
CSCO +775%
COMS +301%
LU +206%(2 years)
BAY +129%
NN +65%
CS -23% <<

SO, you know which you should sell and which you should buy, if you
wish " buy low and sell high".

GWM:

I looked at the chart, CS actually looked pretty good until mid 1997. Interesting thing is that many network stocks took major corrections early in 1997, but they have all regained ground by now.

Since CS went into the cycle 6 months later than others, it's a matter of time before it bounces back.

I looked at upside/downside potential, among the network stocks I don't see any better risk/reward ratio at this moment.
