Already the AMD CPUs are better and are sought after. For sales purposes 1-2% is enough, how do you buy a commodity like gas?, if you see it for 99 cents you go there if another is $1, right? As the items get commoditised a small price differential will swing the buyer. It means nothing to the average smart person if an AMD or Intel CPU is in there at the same speed. Who cares that the AMD is 5% faster,?, a few hackers maybe, but the bulk do not care. Those who are brand sold to ask for Intel are as stupid as those that are brand sold to buy Esso gas, because it is better!!.
