Obivious I am wasting my time here. Go ahead and dream your imperialist dream, and when you wake up China will be stronger than ever. WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT IT?

Yiwu- - << WHAT CAN YOU DO ABOUT IT? >>
We're just going to sit here and wait for your version of Asian crony captitalism to fall on its face. What can you do about it?

Adaptability is one of the prime strengths of both capitalism and democracy. We'll still be up and running long after current batch of tyrants are forgotten dust.

<< "Who were the worst BASTARDS in history" contest >>

Now, now, the Chinese Communist's blood brother Stalin deserves at least a dishonorable mention.

David - Far be it from me to defend Yiwu, but I'm not sure that I would even place the Communist Chinese in the top ten of worst bastards in history. There is just too much competition, especially in history. Only a few hundred years ago it was considered common practice the world-round to kill whole towns of innocents. The only measure that I can think of by which the PRC would qualify is in shear numbers, but that is hardly fair. The world is just more populous (sp?) now.

David, here are five of my preferred Bastards, not one Chinese in them: Nebuchadnetser, Titus, Bogdan Hemeliniski, Turquemevada and Adolph Hitler. Of course, I could have added few of the latter's friends including one who is rarely viewd this way, but which I consider one of the worst, Herbert Von Karajan. He sold his soul to Satan.
