Greetings from a recent buyer of CBRL. Got in at 36 on the strength of a good recommendation from a newsletter that focuses on insider buying. Cracker Barrel's business always seems to be good, so I'm assuming the insider buying was motivated by something interesting besides good sales of bacon and eggs. In the weeks or months to come us investors will find out what the good news is. Until then, enjoy the ride and maybe we can collectively guess what the good news is. * Does someone want to buy them (a Brinker or someone?) * Are they diversifying into another type of restaurant? * Are they going to become much more aggressive in opening new stores?
