Thanks for NYT article Billwot...do you think Intel
is guilty of such "illegal" info dissemination?

Remember May 30, last year?

Good luck...//dom

billwot. Thanks for that link. Right on. Exactly what I was saying. It is unfair practice to release after the market where mostly the big boys have a chance to buy or sell. I like to be informed during market hours. The analysts are not always stockholders but we are. Cos. generally announce anyhow when they have a conf. call so the guy who is not sitting on a cpt. all day, like I was told, WILL have a chance to find out that day. At least we don't have to wake up to a 25 point drop. And when it comes to earnings, a lot of cos. announce earnings in the morning. Those earnings announcements and conf. calls after the market closes can get frustrating.

You were probably very smart to still wait on CPQ. I am sure it will go further down the way things look right now. But I thought I start to nibble, after all I did save over 4 points already. Hope the savings are not peanuts before it's all over. But I don't think it would ever go below 25.

Sonny

Billwot and All. Remember that discussion I had with you yesterday about news after the market. Well Intel has done it again.

INTEL IS WARNING OF LOWER THAN EXPECTED EARNINGS IN THE NEXT QUARTER. THE STOCK HAS BEEN HALTED.

Great and I will be travelling in the morning. I guess insiders were smart to sell this time. Of course Intel had said before flat to slightly up but this is lower than expected. This is just great. I wonder what it will do to the stock.
