INDEX UPDATE
-------------------------

Technically, there is quite a bit of negativity for the overall market tomorrow. Firstly the DOW and some DOW indexes and SPX are CLASS sells to buy-in tomorrow at the highs. We all know that these short-term technicals are not that useful in the past few weeks; however there are many more technical signs of weakness which were not apparent in previous weeks.

1) The DOW held the weak NAZ up today and actually pulled it up substantially off its intradays lows. If the NAZ is weak again tomorrow, the chances are that the DOW may not be able to hold it up again.
2) So far most of Asia is down
3) Watch the interest rates, if it increases again that will add on to the negativity
4) watch the advance/declines and if negative or even - additional negativity
5) watch the NEW HI/LO, if ratio is less than 10 for the NYSE and less than 5 for the NAZ - additional negativity.

There is a chance that tomorrow could be a down day overall if the above keys are met, whether it is the beginning of the pullback, not sure yet.
