James it was not meant to remonstrate at all, and I only hope that enigma does not take it that way either. I do think that some who "play the market" do not know of the dark side, and that is why I suggested he take a look at those websites. There is much to be learned from them for all. When you invest your hard earned money, the more you know, the better your chances of not losing your poke. I learned some of them the hard way over the years, and I paid a high price for the education. Today with forums like this, and the ease with which you can research a company, the shareholder has a far better chance than in the past. To be sure, there are no guarantees, but at least the odds have been improved. I am sure that enigma would agree with that. If he played Hemlo, then he, too, has been around for a while as well, but I gather from his posts that the internet and the talk forums are new for him, and therefore I was trying to help not insult.

I also felt that, having been on the other side of the issue, he would not understand why all shareholders just don't sit patiently in silence anymore, hoping to be thrown a few scraps now and then as was the case before the internet. Most stock players are suspicious, because they have seen too much in the past. The whole market is rampant with rumours all the time. Howe Street literally pulsates with them. The R.C.M.P. are a busy lot just trying to keep up with new schemes to bilk the public, that keep cropping up in the market, as well. It is little wonder why shareholders want to know everything they can about a company and that includes rumours.

I happen to like people, Jim, and I also like to help where it is possible. Believe me, if I came out to fight someone over something, I would be very clear about the reason for it. You could ask some of the old timers on this thread about that.

I must re-read my post to enigma, and I sincerely hope that he has not taken it in a bad way. Please do not feel hesitant to post on this thread, as I think you know, if you have followed it for any length of time, that the people are very helpful and a real good bunch. I can assure you that you won't be jumped on and we welcome your input.

Cheers

Shirley
