Btw, I stated that you would have to be a Stalinist at heart to continue to defend Hiss. I'll bet that many now doubt the "at heart" part. And by the way: if you'll return the the original Hiss posts you'll see that I said--not once but twice--that I have no informed opinion about Hiss's innocence or guilt.
