JM,

Other than a recent upgrade on several telcom stocks (including LCI), I've seen nothing else.

Dave

News? Here's one from a couple of days ago...

NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) -Morgan Stanley said it raised its year-end price targets on several long distance companies.

-- said raised Sprint Corp's (NYSE:FON) year-end target to $75 from $65, raised LCI International Inc (NYSE:LCI) to $40 from $35 and increased IXC Communications Inc (NASDAQ:IIXC) to $65 from $55.

-- said it is unlikely the Baby Bells will enter the long distance market before 1999.

-- sees more stable long distance pricing environment in next several quarters due, in part, to high growth in areas such as data and Internet and a trend towards lower access and interconnection rates.
