ONE MORE TIME.
Methyldopa is a blood pressure medicine. It is not used for

parkinson's disease. It may counteract the beneficial effects

of levodopa. It is a medicine which is very inexpensive. Why

do you think poor countries would buy it? They want the least

expensive drugs to take care of the nost people. More bang for

the buck so-to-speak. Unless a unit means something other than

a single pill my previous math is correct. $100,000 is being

generous. I am not trying to do anything but report to the

best of my ability what the press release says.

Furesomide is a diuretic. It makes people and horses pee.

Works great. Very inexpensive. Probably the same price as

methyldopa~ Less than a dime per 40mg. pill. Would be a good

drug for poor countries because it can be used for heart

failure, kidney diseases and also helps in lowering blood

pressure.

Don't get me wrong. I like the co. and am about to get in.

However I am always looking closely at company press releases.

I think they tried to give the impression that the meds were

worth a small fortune but they just aren't. I have some

knowledge of the medications and this is what I will try to

add to this thread when appropriate. Would not like for anyone

here to be misinformed about a press release if I can help it.

Good luck everyone!
