How will Intel's Pre-Announcement affect Cube today:

Bob, I think you may be over-reacting a bit to the Intel pre-announcement on Cube's share price today. I don't blame you for the over-reaction, as it has been a nightmarish 2 years for Cube's shareholders. You probably will see Cube gap down at the open ( along with the other high techs ), but I see it rebounding later in the day and cutting its losses dramatically ( Even I would buy Cube for a day trade if it fell to 18.625- 18.75 in the first hour ). The real issue for Cube here is two-fold: 1) If the Asian worries resurface intensely again ( as I think they will ) Cube will re-test its lows ( at $15.75 ) and probably make marginal new lows. 2) The wild card here is China and the devaluation issue. With the exception of the " see no evil, hear no evil " Mary Poppins Cubbies, the market is taking a wait and see approach in regard to Cube. This is why volume has been extremely light as of late. You know my view here and I have put my money where my mouth is. My target price of $8-10 for Cube WILL come to pass if China devalues its currency. We should know by the summer. But don't worry too much about today. On a very short term basis, I'd buy the dip for a day trade!
